The Struggle of Stockings

Please don't tell me that i'm the only girl who gets frustrated with stockings?

For me, stockings are an essential item that I must have in my chest of draws. I wear them all the time as I prefer skirts and dresses over pants such as jeans. I also wear them at least 5 days a week for school during the end of autumn and throughout winter. So finding the perfect pair of stockings is such a struggle. Whenever I go shopping for stockings, I get so frustrated because none of the packaging say that the stockings have a cotton gusset at the crotch. I feel like this is essential when purchasing stockings as a cotton gusset not only feels more comfortable, but I feel like it makes the stockings stay up, so you are not constantly pulling them up awkwardly during the day. I also get frustrated at the sizing of stockings as majority of the time they fit in the length, but are super tight around the waist, that it digs into your skin, it's ridiculously uncomfortable to wear and unflattering if you are wearing tight clothing. I have spent so much money purchasing stockings that don't have a cotton gusset or that are too tight around the waist and I refuse to wear them, so I have been wearing the same 3 pairs of stockings for the last couple of years now believe it or not. I have kept them in great condition and don't have any holes. However, they are starting to get worn out and I know if I pull one of the loose threads, it's going to create holes. So I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of stockings to finally replace them. After buying three different brands of stockings which were all unwearable, my desperation levels have become extremely high. Extremely desperate that a couple days ago I went to Kmart specifically to find stockings. I even decided to try and carefully take the stockings out the packaging to see whether or not they have a cotton gusset at the crotch. I'm happy to say that I FINALLY found a brand with decent sizing and a cotton gusset! They were super cheap too, a packet of three for only $9! Needless to say, I bought two packs of three! Hopefully I won't be needing to buy more stockings for quite some time!
